Workshop: Choreographic creation tools

Trembling, troubled, strange, silent, grotesque, what are the unmentionable dances that lie dormant in all of us? Hidden in the shadows and in-between our everyday gestures and dances, we'll set out to discover them with the help of the group. Through a variety of improvisation exercises, we'll try to identify our unexplored areas of expression, offering each other a range of new possibilities. This workshop will be as much about enriching each other's vocabulary and dances as it will be about practicing the spectator's eye and sharing feedback in a variety of playful and constructive ways.
Open to all dancers, performers and scenic artists interested in dance improvisation as a tool for exploring unsuspected imaginary worlds.
